Arrival & departure
If we are at home, the cottage will be open with the key inside.
If we are out, the key will be in the key safe to the right of the cottage door. We will send you the code. It opens from the top and you may have to pull quite hard to open it.
When you leave, please put the key through our letterbox.
During your stay
Everything in the cottage is fairly standard and there is a folder in the cottage with details on how things work. We have a combi-boiler so hot water starts automatically when you turn on the hot tap/shower. It takes a little while to run hot.
There is coffee, tea, salt, pepper, oil and vinegar in the kitchen cupboard for you to use.
Please can you keep the cottage clean during your stay. Cleaning products are under the kitchen sink and a vaccuum cleaner and floor brush in the bedroom wall cupboard. There is hand sanitiser next to the door if you need it.
Before you leave

• Open the windows in the living area, bathroom and bedroom. If it’s raining and/or very windy, just open them a small amount and don’t open the skylights or the side window in the bedroom.
• Remove all rubbish and recycling and put it in the outside bins.
